In 2011, a group of Young people, with the support of a local building company converted a derelict building into a functional and enjoyable space. Over a two year period, the hard working group of Young People built a complex that contained a leisure room, fitness suite, IT suite and function room. This site was to be utilised as a dedicated and friendly place for the young people of Wrexham to b

uild their life and work skills. On 26th July 2013 'The Warehouse Project' was officially opened by the Children’s Commissioner for Wales Keith Towler who described the project as unique and exciting. Following the success of this venture; in 2014 The Warehouse Project transitioned from a training and employment centre to Wrexham Warehouse Project Charity. As a charity Wrexham Warehouse Project continues to offer the fantastic range of training and employment facilities and opportunities for young people with the addition of establishing a Young Person Committee. This committee of dedicated young people will work alongside staff, and with the full support of the trustees and local businesses, to use the Warehouse space to organise events and activities that will bring enjoyment, skills and experiences to the young people of Wrexham.
