📣📣📣📣📣🎉🎉🎉🎉After a very well earned rest from the weekend chaos, we can finally say it properly… what an unforgettable Whoville Christmas we had on Sunday

A huge thank you and round of applause to our awesome, mega team of volunteers. You were absolutely fantastic and without you this event simply would not have happened. Every stall, every game and every bit of magic ran because of you and we are so grateful.

The Grinch was incredible
Santa was the best, so popular he actually lost his voice!
The whole hall was buzzing with families having fun from start to finish.
Children decorated biscuits, threw snowballs at tins, ewwed at sprouts, tried again and again to win a bouncy ball, and helped Santa find the keys he lost for his workshop. Opening the magic door for a prize was a huge hit. So many people hunted for the dot, others got tattoos, and plenty went home wearing brand new jewellery treasures.
Our bid box raffle went down a storm!
Not a single sad face in Santa’s queue thanks to our brilliant elf keeping everyone laughing
Everyone was amazed by the marble game
And no reindeer will be hungry this Christmas after all the reindeer food that was made!

And now for the part you helped make possible 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
After taking out all expenses, the final amount raised was an amazing £553📣📣📣
That is money that goes straight into helping children and families who might otherwise miss out on the moments that really matter.

🥐🥐Thank you to Olea Grove for donating the breakfast pastries for our volunteers. Such a kind gesture and so appreciated by everyone helping on the day.

🌲🌲🎁🌟✨️What an absolutely incredible weekend for The Celebration Foundation!

It started on Saturday at the Lancing Parish Hall Village Fayre where we were welcomed with so much kindness. The Grinch behaved himself. Well… almost. He tried to steal some sweets, but he handed them back with the most dramatic sigh you have ever seen.

We raised an amazing £100.25 on our stall at Lancing and we cannot wait to put it to good use helping children and families who need it most. Your support genuinely makes a difference, and we felt that all day.

There were so many highlights
The Mayor of Adur Adrienne lowe popped by as our very first customer and tried her luck at Sock Match

Bob the town crier stopped for a chat. He is everywhere at once and works so hard for the community

Alan sold Sprout or Out like his life depended on it

Darwyn and Sophie ran Sock Match like absolute stars

And North absolutely smashed the tattoos. So many little arms went away a lot more festive than they arrived

Lancing, you were incredible. Every game you played, every pound you spent and every moment you shared with us helped someone who might otherwise miss out on something special. We are so grateful.

Then came Sunday’s Whoville Christmas Event and what a day it was
The Grinch returned, Santa welcomed families, Elsa appeared, and the room was full of joy from start to finish. We will be posting a full Whoville round up separately because it deserves its own spotlight.

Thank you to everyone who supported us this weekend. You helped create something meaningful for families who truly need it, and we felt the magic in every moment.

This event is about something real.
Right now many parents are having to choose between food, electricity and letting their child join in with the everyday moments that help them feel included. School discos, Christmas dinners, trips and fun activities that mean the world to a child can quietly slip out of reach.

The Celebration Foundation raises funds so families do not have to face those choices alone. Every game played and every pound spent tomorrow helps a child take part in something special.

We have Santa, The Grinch, tattoos, a raffle, snacks, treats, games, crafts and now a surprise visit from the Snow Queen herself

We cannot wait to see you there for a truly magical day ✨

🎅 Good evening Worthing… Santa is up, dressed in his big red suit, and he has recorded a special message just for you!
He has taken a moment from his busy workshop to send a hello to all the children and parents of Worthing.

Everyone welcome !

There will be Christmas games, crafts, gifts, treats and plenty of festive fun waiting for you.

Every penny spent at our events goes straight back into helping families who are struggling with the pressure of rising costs. For many children, money worries at home can mean missing out on school discos, birthday parties, leavers’ events and other moments that help them feel included. Social exclusion can happen quietly, and it can affect a child far more deeply than people realise.

The Celebration Foundation works to change that. We run community events to raise funds, and we also offer a low cost resource library filled with decorations, characters, mascots, karaoke equipment and party supplies. This helps parents, schools and charities create celebrations that are affordable, accessible and full of joy, so no child is left out because of money.

Join us on Sunday, meet Santa, the Grinch and help us make sure every child can be part of the moments that matter.

🎄💤 Shhhh… Santa has nodded off in his workshop. Curled up in his hoodie, completely worn out from prepping for our Whoville Christmas next Sunday on the 30th from 11 to 3 at Worthing Boys Club, ivy arch road.

📣📣VOLUNTEERS NEEDED THIS FESTIVE SEASON

The Celebration Foundation and Worthing Boys Club are bringing a magical Christmas event to our community on Sunday 30th November. We would love a few extra pairs of hands to help bring the day to life.

If you can spare a little time before, during, or after the event, we would be incredibly grateful. Whether you are great with setting up, helping families enjoy the activities, or supporting the tidy up at the end, your time will make a huge difference.

Event Time: 11am to 3pm
Location: Worthing Boys Club, Ivy Arch Road
Help before or after the session would be truly appreciated.

Look who we caught on camera 👀💚

Our Grinch has been spotted giving a cheeky little wave 👋 before sneaking off like he is planning something. He thinks he is being sneaky, but we saw the whole thing.
He is already practising his mischief for Sunday 30th November and we are trying very hard to keep him out of trouble.

Good thing Santa will be joining us too 🎅. He will be meeting the children, hearing Christmas wishes and reminding the Grinch how Christmas is really done. If anyone can keep him still for more than ten seconds, it is Santa.

🎄💚 THE GRINCH IS COMING TO TOWN 💚🎄

The Grinch has been spotted sneaking around Worthing and he is absolutely NOT happy about how Christmassy everything is getting.

He says he is coming on Sunday 30 November to inspect all the Whos, ruin all the joy, and possibly steal a mince pie or two.

Think you can catch him in a photo before he causes chaos?
Think you can make him smile?
Think you can show him what Christmas is really about?

Join us for a silly, festive, full of mischief Grinch meet and greet!
Expect grumpy faces, stolen hats, dramatic sighs, and plenty of chances to get that perfect photo of him being absolutely furious about all the happiness.
