Charity that supports families who have a child with a visual impairment, by offering free days out for all the family to come together.

Look Sussex is a local charity supporting families in East and West Sussex who have a child who is blind or visual impairment. Look Sussex was formed in 1992 and there were approximately 36 families involved. During the years our numbers have grown and although they have fluctuated, at present we have 115 families. We are still a very active charity with frequent events going on throughout the yea

r for the whole family including grandparents. We also have events for parents/carers/adults only and these are usually twice a year. The main aim of Look Sussex is for parents to be able to talk to other parents, to be there for each other and to realise that they are not alone. Many good friendships have been made over the years, not only by the adults, but the children too

Look Sussex Christmas Party 2024 🌲. Thank you to all the members that travelled far & wide to celebrate & catch up with old & new friends 🩷. We enjoyed playing games, dancing 💃🏼 eating 🥪meeting Santa 🎅🏻 & the raffle ( which generates funds 💕for our little charity ) massive thanks to Maria for attending. Thanks also to SSW & Blatchington Court Trust for your financial support ❤️⭐️😁

We are excited to see our look Sussex families at our Christmas party tomorrow. We are pleased to have and with us. Sight support Worthing and Blatchington court Trust have enabled us to continue having events across Sussex through this year.
