Worthing WOW (World of Words) was born from the need to discover, in Sussex, new words, new scripts, new films, new poems, and new talent, which has gradually escalated into a festival that will ignite the creative flame in Worthing. Worthing has a fantastic literary heritage: Shelley, Byron, Austen, Wilde, Priestley all came here and

were inspired by our beautiful seaside town. We want to celebrate the past as well as invest in encouraging our writers of the future.
