Physical activity is important for both wellbeing and service users can access walks around the site in all weathers and will be encouraged to engage in other activities such as bird watching, photography, bush craft skills or admiring the wildlife by the river. Our land is multi-functional and has the potential to provide a range of environmental and social goods and services. Our activities actively encourage people to learn more about the natural environment. Engaging in green activities in groups can also nurture new friendships and enhance social networks with like-minded people. It can help people to move forward in life, set new goals and do things which gives their life meaning.
