WE’RE FINALISTS!

We’re absolutely delighted to announce that NEAD CIC has been selected as a finalist in the Best Diversity and Inclusion Business category at the 2026 in-Cumbria Business Awards, sponsored by Cumberland Building Society.

This one means a lot.

NEAD was built around creating more inclusive communities, opening doors, creating opportunities and making sure people feel seen, supported and welcome. To have that work recognised alongside some of Cumbria’s brilliant organisations is a huge achievement for our whole team.

I’m so proud of this organisation. We don’t always stop and think about how far NEAD has come, so being named a finalist is a really nice moment to step back and realise what we’ve achieved together.
