Congratulations to everyone who made the honours boards this week!

We would like to say well done to Lydia Haines of Astwood Bank CC topping the Bowling Honours Board with figures of 3-11.

And topping the Batting Honours Board Lucy Clulow of Worcester Nomads CC hitting 79.

Congratulations to everyone who made the honours boards this week!

We would like to say well done to Abdulhaq Armani of Old Elizabethans CC topping the Bowling Honours Board with outstanding figures of 8-45.

And topping the Batting Honours Board John Phillips of Droitwich Spa CC with a magnificent 292.

22 weeks ago this was a seated sports session for people living with Parkinson's. 🏏

Today participants are standing up, moving, competing and laughing together over a cup of tea.

That is what happens when you show up consistently for people week after week.

The cricket is just the beginning. The confidence the friendships and the sense of belonging that comes with it. That is what really changes lives.

A huge thank you to Radfield Home Care for their support in making these sessions possible.

What an incredible day at New Road on 9 August. 🏏

10 teams from across the country descended on Worcestershire County Cricket Ground for our annual Super 1s Celebration Festival. Three rounds of fun and inclusive cricket on the outfield with players showcasing their batting and bowling skills while parents and carers cheered them on from the stands.

The energy the atmosphere and the cricket were everything we could have hoped for and more.

A massive thank you to Worcestershire County Cricket Club for hosting the event and to every team coach parent carer and supporter who came along and helped make the day such a success.

Last week of Cricket Summer Camps… make it count. 🏏☀️

Week 6 is at King's School Playing Fields from Monday 24th August. The final chance to be part of Worcestershire Cricket Foundation's summer of cricket.

Please note the softball camp on Monday 24 August is at Visit Worcestershire New Road.

Softball Camp: Ages 4 to 7, Mon 24th & Fri 28th August, 9am to 12noon, £15 per session.

Hardball Camp: Ages 8 to 15, Mon 24th to Thu 27th August, 9am to 3pm, £30 per day or £100 four day pass.

Cricket Skills Workshop: Fri 28th August, 12.30pm to 3pm, £20 per session.

This key role will lead our safeguarding, welfare, inclusion and volunteer workforce work, supporting clubs, leagues, schools and community partners across Worcestershire and Dudley.

If you have safeguarding experience, enjoy building relationships and want to make a lasting difference through sport, this could be the perfect opportunity.

📍 Worcester based with hybrid working available

What a day this is going to be. 🏏

On Sunday 6th September, we're hosting Girls U11 and U13 cricket festivals at King's School Playing Fields from 9am to 12 noon.

And then the day gets even better. Players will have the opportunity to head into New Road to watch England Women take on Ireland in a One-Day International.

Festival cricket in the morning. International cricket in the afternoon. What a way to spend a Sunday!
