Well that is the Worcestershire Chapter Tailender 2026 done! Thanks to all who came and supported us, you made it a fantastic weekend. The ride out showed off some of Worcestershires fine countryside with amazing weather. Followed by the Vertis / Dormer Lodge meeting which was great fun and yet still purposeful, raising funds for good causes. We then headed back to Alcester RFC for a night of entertainment and karaoke!

It is nearly time for our 2nd Worcestershire Widows Sons Tailender rally. If you have not booked there is a facility to pay on the gate on arrival. However you might miss out on prebooked food as it will be provided to those who have booked first.

We have a singer for Friday night, Karaoke for Saturday night with BBQ. Saturday daytime we have an organised ride to Worcester Freemasons Hall. At which there will be a Lodge meeting for Vertis Widows Sons Lodge.

After the Lodge meeting which is only for Freemasons, the Lodge will be open to all other visitors for a guest speaker who will deliver a presentation. The Worcestershire Freemasons Library & Museum will be open to all during this time. Then we have another ride back to our campsite, along a different route taking in some of the wonderful Worcestershire countryside. (not too long / less than an hour).

Remember this is only open to you if you are a Widows Sons Member, Associate member or a guest of a Widows Sons Member or Associate.

We had not been to a Cotswold Bike Nite meet for a while. A few of us stalwarts of the midweek ride, headed over to Croft Farm Water Park, Tewkesbury. Great ride, brotherhood and a smashing venue. Today members of Worcestershire met up and took the bikes on a journey to Elan Valley, stopping off at Doms Leominster and Crossgates cafe.

It was Scorchio! Great views and nice roads. Excellent safe riding and all got home safe too.

Good to see a new associate member welcome Mumfi.

Well done to Andy (Monte) Philpott on the Widows Sons talk today. Covering the history from the early days In 1998, Illinois, USA, to the formation of WS in England 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 and through to the creation of the former West Mids chapter and finally to very own Worcestershire chapter.

The Widows Sons Vertis Lodge visited Minster Lodge, who are a Saturday morning breakfast Lodge based in Stourport. A great time was had, camaraderie, friendship and a hearty breakfast. Thanks to the members of Minster for looking after us!

Worcestershire Chapter of the Widows Sons Masonic Bikers Association shall be hosting for the 2nd year a Tailender rally. This rally is open for Widows Sons, Associates and their guests. £20 per head, camping 2 nights. Caravan, Motorhomes welcome.

Stevie Keys providing entertainment on Friday night, organised ride on Saturday, along with new WS Lodge meeting for Masons to attend / bring your aprons.
