Scampers We run the Duke of Edinburgh Awards and outdoor activities for young people aged 14-24 years who miss out on places in school.

Some of our members have chosen to do their DofE with us because they prefer to do it outside of school. Scampers Team is a registered Charity, number 1158054
We run as a team of 3 adult instructor volunteers who run and deliver outdoor activities including;
camping
climbing
hiking
orienteering
first aid
navigation
duke of edinburgh
map reading
survival skills

We run a monthly meet up where we de

liver new and useful outdoor skills for both new and current members. Whether you are wanting to make new friends, learn about the outdoors or gain more experience of mountaineering this group is for you! Come along to one of our evenings and see what you think! Alongside of our evenings we also run and deliver both Bronze and Silver Duke of Edinburgh Awards. With over 12+ years experience, Anna, the Lead Instructor has the following qualifications to ensure you have a safe and fun experience:

+Mountain Leader Summer
+Basic Expedition Leadership Award
+First Aid Qualified
+Gold Duke of Edinburgh Award
+Smallbore Rifle License
+Minibus Permit
+Queen Scout Award
+Survival and Instructor Trained

We meet once a month on a Wednesday evening for 2 hours from 7.30pm-9.30pm in the local Scout Hut (3rd Worcester Scout Hut, Rainbow Rise, Worcester, WR38EU) We also run seperate events throughout the year so look out for the dates on here!
