120 runners. One Olympic Park. A whole lot of purple. 💜

Last Thursday, over 100 runners took off around Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, proudly representing Haven House and what a sight it was, with a percussion band and our wonderful cheer squad gave the soundtrack for the night!

A massive thank you to every runner, corporate partner, volunteer, sponsor and member of our events team who helped make the evening such a success.

On Sunday, we came together for one of the most poignant moments in the Haven House calendar - our annual Memory Day. 💜

A day to remember and celebrate the lives of children who have died, and to give bereaved families a meaningful space to come together, share memories, reflect and remember.

Through photographs, music, poems and shared memories, we honoured each child in a personal and special way. Candles were lit, names were spoken and we paused together in quiet reflection. As bubbles were released into the sky - like kisses carried in the breeze - families shared a gentle moment of remembrance.

Grief has no timetable. Memory Day is an important part of our ongoing bereavement support, as we continue to walk alongside families after a child has died - providing opportunities to remember, connect and feel supported for as long as they need us.

To every family who joined us, thank you for allowing us to share such a significant and personal day with you. 💜
