On our talk on Tuesday we welcomed Gary Prescott, the biking birder, who gave an amazing talk about his trip around the UK and Spain in the footsteps of Laurie Lee.
We also said Thank You to our Chair, Jane who celebrated 5 years of volunteering to our group.

We carried out our final bird survey of the break lands around Copped Hall, for the corporation of London for 2026 on Saturday, and the effect of the dry summer was dramatic, brown grass and water starved trees!😔

Another Saturday Morning spent at Copped Hall monitoring the bird life on the break lands for the Corporation of London, the dry weather has had shocking affect!

Our Committee had a guided tour around The Ealing Beaver Project thanks to Citizen Zoo . We had 3 sightings of a kit, a teenager and an adult mother. Paradise Fields is now home to 11 Beavers snd the landscape has dramatically changed.
