These shows are so rewarding and great fun!

Bluebell House recently welcomed an energetic performance organised by Wokingham in Need in collaboration with Victory Theatre Project and Circus Scene.

The show brought music, laughter, and a vibrant atmosphere to the home, creating a memorable experience for both residents and staff.

There was great enthusiasm throughout, with many joining in with the songs and clearly enjoying the moment.

The Players’ have been presenting Victorian Music Hall since 1936 including 56 years at The
Charing Cross Theatre in London and 245 television episodes at the City Varieties, in Leeds
of "The Good Old Days" which was broadcast on the BBC on a Saturday night.
Artist Director of the New Players’ Michelle Grant said; ‘We are delighted to be visiting The
Whitty Theatre and let Wokingham reverberate to the glorious sounds of the Music Hall,
singing the wonderful songs that are an essential part of our heritage’.

We had great fun with our Old Time Music hall workshop and entertainment at Wade yesterday. Sponsored by the Victory Theatre Project and Wokingham Town Council.
It was great to chat about the roots of variety, look at some wonderful memorabilia and have a good old sing song to finish. Everybody joined in and we all had a marvellous time. 😊

I had a great time as invited by Sue from Wokingham in Need to represent Victory Theatre and helping to judge this wonderful talent show at the Windmill School; what a privilege it was to be involved with a school event that promotes performance and Variety!
Such a lot of talent was on show and everyone had a fabulous time; well done Windmill!
