This is evident from these statistics provided by International Labour Organisation - India is staring at a 29 million (2.9 Crore) skill-deficit by 2030. Owing to the skill shortage, 53 percent of Indian businesses could not recruit in 2019. From these statistics it is evident that, while the individuals think there are not enough jobs in the market, organisations believe there is severe shortage of relevant skills.
