*Update on Road Cleaning Efforts*
Dear Residents,
We’ve received several concerns regarding the mess on our roads caused by construction activities. After raising these issues with Barratt Homes, we’ve been provided with an update on the steps being taken to address the situation:
- *Road Scraping*: Site roads have been scraped to reduce the amount of mud leaving the site, and this process will continue.
- *Enhanced Road Sweeping*: Road sweeping frequency has increased. A more intensive ‘back to black’ sweep is planned to restore the roads to standard, expected on Thursday. This may involve pressure washing the block paving.
- *Additional Resources*: A new pressure washer and additional labour have been requested for the site, with their arrival also expected on Thursday.
- *Restricted Plant Movement*: Movement of plant equipment has been limited between the showhome and the construction site.
- *Mud Source Management*: Any identified sources of mud on-site have been instructed to be scraped.
We hope these measures will result in a noticeable improvement. Rest assured, we will continue to monitor the situation and hold Barratt Homes accountable as necessary.
