What a fabulous evening we had last night with our speaker John Brown- interactive story telling. We got into groups and performed our own story and then enjoyed some cake and tea. We also welcomed a few ladies from Orlestone and Hamstreet WI to join us. Why not come to our next meeting on the first Tuesday in November. More details to follow.

What a fantastic WI Day on Wednesday celebrating 111 years of the Women’s Institute, hosted by Woodchurch WI and all the hard work by the East Kent Fed girls. A sea of purple across the hall. And tomorrow we are off to Ightam Mote to meet up with Lady Croft WI, our twin WI for over 25 years. Join up, don’t think twice, you’ll miss out on more exciting trips and events. How interesting to hear at our last meeting all the non-obvious things that CARM volunteers do for our communities. See photo attached with phone number if you may be in need of their services or are able to spare a little time to volunteer. They have 10 points of contact for meetings over Kent and have a wonderful befriending service for this who cannot get out to meet others.

Reminder of tonight’s meeting. We have Peter Benson talking on his life as a prop man. We had him last year and he is back again to continue his story. Everybody is welcome.

It’s not all Jam and Jerusalem 😀💐
