We’d like to thank everyone for another wonderful scarecrow festival
So many thank yous:
- To our scarecrow makers – the festival wouldn’t exist without your creativity and willingness to join in the fun
- To the shop – for selling maps and taking in all the voting forms and for extending your hours
- To the Sports Club - for selling maps and opening your car park
- To Macintyre and Wingrave School for allowing visitors to use your car park
- And finally to each and every person that bought a map and supported this annual tradition.

👻 It's finally happening 🦇

See poster for more details. Please note parking will be available at the Sports Park, McIntyre School and limited numbers at Wingrave Primary School.

Scarecrows will be on display to the public from 12pm on Saturday 2nd May until 6pm on Monday 4th May.

The pub will be providing a BBQ on Saturday and Monday and a roast on Sunday and maps can be purchased from the Village Shop of the Sports Park.

Think imaginative, quirky, enchanting, and unexpected creations popping up all around the village from 2–4 May 2026.

We can’t wait to see scarecrows that surprise, delight, and spark curiosity as residents and visitors explore Wingrave’s winding paths and hidden corners.
