Some things we have been getting up to over the winter... finishing the deck on our studio, lots of crafting!.. pottery and sewing, planting holly trees, making willow bird feeders and bird food, building raised beds ready for growing our cut flowers, and now with the lovely sunshine these past few days, we have been working in our greenhouse planting seeds and willow cuttings. πŸ’šπŸŒΏπŸͺ΄πŸ› πŸͺ

We have been cutting and drying our lavender. Because of the warm spring it flowered early. We left some for the bees 🐝

We have been inspired by Autumn. πŸ‚ ... and also thoughts of the winter ahead ! (Not too early to think about Christmas πŸ˜‰)!

We have been making willow bird feeders. We have alot of willow growing at the river site, but some of the willow we used we have especially planted for willow weaving in our osier bed. This is now starting to grow enough for us to harvest some. We are looking forward to using it for lots of different craft and gardening purposes in the near future. 🌱

We grew some lovely sweet Williams again this year. We enjoyed drawing them and taking them home as cut flowers. 🌸
