Happy Pride Month 🥳

We are so unbelievably grateful to see all of the amazing outpouring of support for the LGBT+ community within Wilmslow.

When we started this group just over a year ago, we couldn’t have imagined the friendships and relationships that would form because of it.

With that said, we do think it’s important to highlight, that there is still work to be done. We love having questions from people that would genuinely like to open their minds or understand our community further, but then there are some outright gross comments. Here are a few of the comments we’ve received since setting up last year.

This is why pride matters. We can’t wait to see you all on the 20th & 21st June! 🌈

They brought the house down last year, and they're back. 🌈🎶

We are so excited to announce that the amazing Rock Choir will be returning to Wilmslow Pride this year, and we honestly cannot wait.

But this announcement comes with a very special thank you. Two of Rock Choir's own, Emma and Rachel, who have been part of our volunteer team throughout the journey of Pride, giving their time, energy and hearts to help make it all happen. We wouldn't be here without you both. 💜

🌈 4 WEEKS TO GO 🌈

Wilmslow Pride is almost here and we honestly cannot contain our excitement!!

Mark your calendars, set your alarms, shout it from the rooftops, because this year is going to be something VERY special!

✨ SATURDAY 20TH JUNE | BANK SQUARE, WILMSLOW | 12PM - 5PM

We're kicking off Pride weekend with a FULL street party and we've got an incredible lineup waiting for you:

⭐ The brilliant Tanya Bardsley opening the day
🎤 The amazing Verry Cerry performing live
🎵 Magic Voices Choir
🎸 Rock Choir
🎶 DATS

We have our incredible staging provided by Strawberry Radio, who'll also be making sure the vibes are playing all day long!

We close the weekend beautifully with community and charity stalls, free tea & cake, followed by a heartfelt Diversity Service led by the wonderful Rev. Jeff Gould. A moment to reflect, connect, and celebrate together. 💛

Both days will feature our fantastic raffle, and the whole of Wilmslow town has got involved with the prizes! We're so incredibly grateful!

This weekend is for EVERYONE. LGBTQIA+ community, allies, families, friends, and anyone who believes in love, kindness, and belonging. You are so welcome here. 🏳️🌈

We are so unbelievably proud to announce our headline sponsor for Wilmslow Pride 2026.

MAG aren’t just writing us a quick cheque. They’re showing up for the community, loudly and proudly, because it genuinely matters to them. As a nominee for the British Diversity Awards, with active Trans inclusion work happening inside their organisation right now, this isn’t a corporate box-tick. This is a partnership rooted in something that means so much to both of us. When we sat down together, it was clear almost immediately that we were aligned on why we were doing this. That doesn’t always happen, and when it does, you know you’re building something worth shouting about.

Supporting family-friendly, grassroots events is really important to MAG and this year, Wilmslow Pride is delivering on that in a big way. We’re pulling out all the stops to make it an incredible day for everyone. Live drag, Bubble and glitter artists, Popcorn and candyfloss making, Music, colour, joy, and a whole lot of love. Right in the heart of Wilmslow. A day for families, friends, allies, and the whole community to come together and celebrate.

The countdown is officially on, and we are SO excited for what's coming this year.

Pride is built by incredible people who give their time, energy, and heart to make it something special. That's where YOU come in! 💛

We're looking for volunteers to help make Wilmslow Pride 2026 the best one yet. Whether it's helping on the day, setting up, or supporting behind the scenes. No experience needed, just a big heart and a love for community!

We're also on the lookout for raffle prize donations! Got a product, service, or experience you'd like to donate? We'd love to hear from you. Every prize helps us raise vital funds to keep our community events going all year round

We're looking for sponsors to help make Wilmslow Pride even bigger and better! 🌈

This year, we have a range of sponsorship opportunities available, so if you're a local business or organisation who wants to support what we do, we'd love to hear from you! Last year's Pride brought over 500 people together on the day, reached thousands across social media, and secured press and media coverage that amplified LGBTQ+ voices
