Happy Pride, Manchester & Knutsford! 🏳️‍🌈

What a way to kick off the weekend! Last night’s celebrations were just the beginning! We hope everyone has a gorgeous weekend celebrating the comeback of Manchester Village Pride

Today it’s Knutsford’s ( ) turn to shine too. sending huge love to everyone at Knutsford Pride, hosting their event today at Dexter & Jones from 12pm-5pm. Two brilliant celebrations, one incredible LGBTQIA+ community (heavy emphasis on the TQIA+)!! 🏳️‍⚧️

Some of our group are venturing into Manchester throughout the weekend, so if you’re at a loose end and want to join, get in touch, the more the merrier 😊

A Month ago today we were just winding down from our second Pride party, and what a day it was! 😭

You all showed up in true, technicolour force and we couldn’t love you all more if we tried.

We're still not quite over last weekend! 🌈

We want to say another huge thank you to everyone who came down and brought their joy, their love, and their incredible energy, to our wonderful volunteers, amazing partners and sponsors, and the community that we've built over the last two years - we couldn't have done any of this without you

Wilmslow Pride exists because of people like you. Every year it grows, and every year it gets more magical, and that's entirely down to this wonderful community

We can't wait to do it all again next year! 🫶

What a gorgeous way to round off the perfect weekend.

Yesterday we joined Dean Row Unitarian Congregation led by Rev. Jeff Gould, for an afternoon of tea, coffee, delicious cakes, and catching up with friends; both old and new.

The evening was closed with an interfaith, diversity service where we were joined by different faith leaders, community champions and the incredible rock choir. We heard stories, passages, prayers. We sang, we danced, we cried, and most importantly we reflected. Who & what got us here and how we must continue that going forward.

This has become a real tradition for us here at Wilmslow Pride, so we hope to see you for our next service in 2027. No matter what age, religion, no religion, spirituality, gender or orientation. All are welcome here.

Thank you Jeff & everyone that made the evening so special. We’ll remember that for a long time. 🌈

Don’t forget our wonderful friends at the library are putting on a crafts morning to get everyone in the pride spirit! 🌈

Make a day of it!

Kick off the Pride Celebrations at Wilmslow Library on the 20th June, with a free Family Crafts session, where little ones can make their very own rainbow windmill from 10.30–11.30am. It's free, drop-in, and perfect for families with children aged 4+.

Then head straight into the celebrations, because the Wilmslow Pride Street Party kicks off from 12pm.

A whole morning and afternoon of colour, community, and good vibes. We'd love to see you there.

No need to book the crafts, just show up, get creative, and let the celebrations begin. 🌟
