Reflections Wigan CIC Reflections is a Community Interest Company providing support services in the community for people living with dementia / memory problems and their carers.

Reflections is a not for profit social enterprise. Our services are based on the latest research which shows that engaging in a meaningful occupation, exercise, socialising, being part of a community group and other brain stimulation activities all help to maintain your memory. Our services also help to give carers a well earned break. All our staff are trained dementia practitioners as well as qualified care providers.

Today at Reflections we marked VE Day with a wonderful day full of remembrance, laughter, music, and togetherness. 🇬🇧 ❤️

Our guest enjoyed lovely chats sharing memories, plenty of singing, a traditional fish and chip lunch, some gentle seated exercises, and a little stroll to visit our beautiful Charlie and Wes. 🐴 🌟

Moments like these are so important 💜 bringing comfort, connection, familiar memories, and lots of smiles.

🌼🌸Today at Reflections, we enjoyed a lovely crafty day creating colourful decorations to brighten up our garden. Our guest had a wonderful time making these beautiful colour catchers.

Activities like these are a gentle way to spark creativity, encourage engagement, and bring a sense of joy and achievement. Most of all, it was a day filled with smiles, laughter, and happiness. 🌸🌼

“This afternoon at Reflections, our guests enjoyed a fun session of seated balloon tennis, encouraging gentle exercise, laughter, and social interaction. Activities like these play an important role in supporting overall wellbeing.

A special thank you to our little apprentice, Pippa, who has worked so hard today during half term—our guests always love seeing younger faces getting involved and sharing in the fun.”
