Unfortunately, our EPiC MEN Abram Community Centre group will not be running this Thursday only, as the venue is being used as a polling station for the Ashton-in-Makerfield By-Election.

The good news is that support is still available, and all Abram attendees are welcome to join us at any of our other EPiC MEN groups this week:

This Wednesdaymarks a huge moment for EPiC HOPE as we open our very first Crisis Harbour in Liverpool with our brilliant partners Leisure United

What started in Wigan as a simple idea, that nobody should have to face a self defined mental health crisis alone or suicidal crisis alone, is now reaching even more communities across the North of England.

Crisis Harbours™️are different. They’re non-clinical, community-led and built on human connection. No referrals. No waiting lists. Just a safe space where people can talk, be heard and find support when they need it most.

We’re incredibly proud of the amazing team who will be there on the ground this Wednesday, giving their time, compassion and experience to support others.

This is another step forward in our vision of making immediate, accessible crisis support available in communities where people live.

Liverpool, we’re looking forward to meeting you 💜

What’s been happening this week at EPiC HOPE! 💜

Our EPiC Runners have been smashing it, supporting one another and proving that movement, connection and community can make a real difference! 🏃🏽‍♀️🏃🏽‍♂️🏃🏾

This week also saw the launch of our fourth EPiC MEN group. What started as one group continues to grow because men are telling us these spaces matter 👊🏼👊🏽👊🏾

Some of our fantastic team have been out in the community raising awareness and sharing what support is available, while our Crisis Harbours™️have been incredibly busy supporting people through some of their toughest moments.

(Plus our CEO is travelling the world with her skills 😉)

Every conversation matters. Every person matters.

Here’s what’s on this week at EPiC HOPE. 💜

💜💜 2 DAYS TO GO! 💜💜

The countdown is on! In just 2 days' time, we will open the doors of Sunshine House, Scholes for the very first time as we launch our 4th EPiC MEN group.

What started as one group has grown into something truly special. Thanks to the courage of the men who walk through our doors each week, the support of our amazing peer mentors, and a community that believes nobody should struggle alone, we are now opening our fourth location.

EPiC MEN is more than a support group. It's a place where men can talk, listen, connect, and realise they are not alone. No judgement. No pressure. Just a room full of men supporting each other.

Our unique 6-question structure helps create meaningful conversations and gives men the opportunity to reflect on where they are, where they want to be, and the positive steps they can take moving forward. The questions encourage discussion, build trust, and help men support one another in a safe and welcoming environment.

🕖 Group starts at 7:00pm

Whether you're struggling, feeling isolated, looking for support, or simply want to be part of an amazing community, come and give us a try. Our peer mentors will be there to welcome you, explain how the group works, and make sure you feel comfortable.

Together, through conversation, connection, and support, we are helping men move forward and showing that talking really does save lives.

Absolutely buzzing for some of our EPiC Runners today!

Between them they took on the Morecambe 5k, 10k and Andy did a Half Marathon and every single one of them did themselves proud.

A few were chasing personal bests. Others simply set themselves a challenge and got it done.

That’s what we love about EPiC Runners. It’s not about being the fastest. It’s about turning up, backing each other, and proving you’re capable of more than you think.

We’re incredibly proud of every one of you today. What an achievement! 😁

Now put your feet up, enjoy the medals and know you’ve inspired a lot of people. 💜🏃‍♂️🏃‍♀️
