On Monday 3rd Aug 11am til 12 noon the Caithness and Sutherland Countryside Rangersrangers will be at the Thrumster Station Garden doing a pollenator count in the wild flower meadow all are welcome to come along and learn about pollonators and help do the count, all equipment is supplied and no experience necessary.

Ten days ago, a great bunch of people walked round the renovated Yarrows Trail. Have you checked it out yet? New leaflet at the car park, new info boards, new signage and waymarker posts. However bad the weather, no-one need get lost now!

Is it in your diaries? Are you coming to the Yarrows Trail "Opening" to see all our renovation work? Sunday 14th June, 1.30pm. A date for your diaries - Sunday 14th June. Yarrows Heritage has been renovating the Yarrows Trail - new signage, information boards, leaflets, waymarker posts, etc. We'd like you to see what we've been up to. So this is a Community Walk of the Trail, with a short talk about each of the main features as we go round. Family friendly. Meet at the Trail car park 1330hrs. Yarrows Heritage is preparing to do some restoration work on the Yarrows Trail this Spring. The signage needs updating, waymarking posts need replacing, stiles need some work. In preparation, Roland walked the trail with his drone on a sunny day in January. Enjoy these photos.
