We’re pleased to introduce CabSafe.UK - a new independent, trusted driver register launching nationwide in Spring 2026.
CabSafe.UK is being created to help raise confidence and transparency within the UK private hire and hackney carriage industry.
Every driver listed on CabSafe.UK will have:
• A valid licence with their local council
• A DBS check carried out by their council within the last 6 months
• Verified vehicle safety checks, including current MOTs
Once live, CabSafe.UK will provide:
• A public register of approved drivers across the UK
• Individual driver profiles with verified information
• A recognisable CabSafe.UK trust mark for approved drivers
Our aim is simple:
To make it easier for passengers to find licensed, checked and approved drivers and for professional drivers to stand out with recognised, independent verification.
Drivers can register their interest now.
