We are based at Fowl Green Farm, Commondale and offer a day service to adults with learning disabilities, people with mental health issues and school groups.

Activities include looking after our friendly animals: donkeys, llamas, goats and more.

We would like to thank everyone who came along on Friday and supported our event. A total of £515 was raised which will be donated to Teesside Hospice.

The raffle was won by Amber, thank you to everyone who bought tickets.

Coffee Morning/Afternoon
Friday 5th December 2025
COMMONDALE VILLAGE HALL
11 am - 2 pm

All proceeds to Teesside Hospice.

Our service users have been very busy baking and making crafts ready for Friday and they are very excited to meet everyone.

We will be selling raffle tickets for this gorgeous Christmas cake made by Vicky.

Christmas Coffee Morning/Afternoon Friday 5th December 2025

Everyone has been working really hard in the workshop getting our Christmas Crafts ready for the 5th December. We hope to raise lots of money which we will donate to Teesside Hospice.

It was a very sad goodbye to our lovely friend Roger. Our service users miss him so much and talk about him a lot, laughing about the things he did, the banter they had with him and the lovely kind things he did for them. The staff and service users who were there to say goodbye were so pleased to see so many people there to say goodbye to a truly lovely man ###

We have some really sad news to share. Our lovely friend Debbie Smith has passed away.

Debbie was a great supporter of BB since it's beginnings in 2016.

We first met Debbie when she brought her son William (pictured here with Debbie) to visit us and enrolled him on an archaeology course we were running. Will subsequently came to BB as a service user, then an apprentice and is now a much valued member of staff who Debbie was really proud of.

As well as introducing Will to us Debbie also helped develop a link with Kirkleatham Hall School which resulted in a number of their young people coming to BB.

Debbie would call into BB from time to time for a drink and a chat and everyone was always happy to see her. She was kind and caring, and also had a great sense of fun.

Our thoughts are with Andy, William and Alan ###

MACMILLAN COFFEE MORNING

Our lovely service users have been working very hard to get everything ready for our coffee morning on Friday, they've been baking and will be there to serve teas and coffees in Commondale Village Hall.

We hope to see as many people as possible to raise money for this very worthwhile cause.
