DXer Care Keith's PHB team of Personal Assistants I am funded by the NHS, therefore I am governed by their criteria under the PHB agreement regarding rates.

DXer Care was basically setup in August 2022 as the name of the team of professional Personal Assistants to look after me at home here in Weybourne! I have many complex physical needs and I couldn't get the care required from using Agencies, so I now have a Personal Health Budget! Although I am responsible for the Staffing etc. I have Suffolk Independent Living managing my contracts, payrolls and accounts...

Without DXer Care I don't have a life!

Been meaning to post this since returning home from watching, the Comedy genius that is Al Murray at the Corn Exchange in Kings Lynn on 3rd October.
Accompanied by Sam and Keith, meeting up with Penny and Barry it was a hilarious night of non stop comedy! 🤣

Another frustrating week of advertising, chasing applications that seem to think it's perfectly normal to have no certification or training! NO SHOWS, others that turn up for the job that they know is 20+ miles away but suddenly it's TOO FAR!!!!!!!

WHY APPLY and waste 3 days of my life???

Life is hard at present, I can't go on employing agencies 😞

This was a much needed diversion on the night of Friday 25th September at The Auden Theatre, Holt!!! An Evening with Shappi Khorsandi and others brought together by the brilliant Paul Dunn a.k.a. Comedy Buoys! Thanks once again to DXer Care staff, Lucy and Sam for accompanying me...

Unfortunately due to lack of daytime staff the rest of the weekend! I wasn't well enough to attend Paul Merton and Suki Webster at Epic Studios on the Sunday!! Tickets wasted and something that I had been looking forward to...

The problems in social care are increasingly making it impossible to stay at home! 😞

"The Hairy Keith's and Co" took on the weekly quiz at The Crown, Sheringham on August Bank Holiday Monday... 😎 We didn't win, but we weren't last, most importantly we had a good laugh!!!!

Not one person with any experience responded to last advertising campaign!! Just individuals with massive question marks that you need to sift through but remember I have to trust these people within my house and with my life!!

Not an easy job!

But I have had to resort to using agencies at 2x the hourly rate, although the worker's on less than I offer...it's CRAZY!!! Nobody wants a job?

First of all I'm not an agency, we're just trying to keep my NHS funded PHB care team separate from my private facebook account..

Unfortunately due to a change in availability I am again urgently looking for someone to join my care team! It could be a full-time postion, but there are part-time vacancies available to suit those with limited availability? Ideally I am looking for experienced PAs, registered self-employed candidates are also welcome but reliabilty is key for all candidates...

With me requiring 2 to 1 24/7 care, I need weekend cover aswell as weekdays. I'm basically quadriplegic, but maintain full capacity needing assistance in all aspects i.e. personal care, feeding, repositioning etc.

Frustrated once again with no shows at interviews!! There does seem to be a distinct lack of wanting to work these days...and there's me hoping that after my birthday things would change?
