Happy Birthday to us! Our lovely community cafe is celebrating its first anniversary of being open. Stay after out usual Friday morning session or come along between 12-1:30 to celebrate with us!

Unfortunately, due to staff sickness the planned Citizens Advice service will not be running today. It's unavoidable but we're sorry for any inconvenience.

👉 We'll be at Wetherby's Community Cafe and Advice Hub this Friday morning as usual, 10am till midday, along with Citizens Advice and lots of other local organisations offering free advice and support 🙂

Wetherby's Community Cafe and Advice Hub is a fantastic resource for people living in Wetherby and the surrounding towns and villages. They have their own page so why not give them a follow?

👉 In addition to being at the Community Cafe, you can also find the foodbank at our regular Friday session at Wetherby's Barleyfields Community Centre, 10am till midday. We're also at Barleyfields every Tuesday morning and also at Tadcaster's Community Cafe every Wednesday morning, both 10am till midday.

We had a great turnout to this morning's cafe, these are just some of those who came along!
What is wonderful about our cafe is the real sense of community, with customers from less than a year old, right up to those in their 90s!

☀️ A lovely morning spent out in the community!

This morning, some of our residents enjoyed a visit to Wetherby's Community Café & Advice Hub, where we were made to feel so welcome as usual. 💙

We took along a selection of jigsaws and board games, which sparked plenty of conversation and laughter with some lovely people we met during the morning. It's always wonderful to spend time meeting new faces and strengthening our connections within the local community. 🤝

Before we headed back to Ashfield, we were kindly given some beautiful flowers to bring home for a flower arranging activity with our residents. 🌼 We're looking forward to seeing the wonderful displays they create!

A huge thank you to everyone at the Community Café for your warm hospitality, along with the tea, coffee and biscuits. ☕🍪 It was a thoroughly enjoyable morning, and we can't wait to visit again soon!
