***Announcement***

3 bits of great news

Firstly we have joined up with Weston Hospicecare who will be our 2nd charity we will be raising money for.

They do an amazing job in the local community and I was delighted to be shown around their facility this afternoon by Darran Griffiths.

After all the support we received from the community last year, we feel it's important to support a local charity ❤️.

Secondly, we are delighted that Darran Griffiths will also be joining us on the challenge! Darran has a wealth of experience in charity challenges, most recently cycling from John O' Groats to Lands End. ❤️

And finally the date for our challenge has been agreed which will be Saturday 3rd October.

An official hero line up will be revealed soon 💪

Good evening everyone!!

"5 guys against..." Are Back!!!

Apologies for the delay in announcing this but its been a hectic start to the year for many reasons.

Anyway, this year we will be running from the in Wales to the home of the seagulls, weston football club.

We will be doing this in 1 day via a relay system!

We have 4 heroes signed up to run (so far) & one or two supporting us on the day!

We will announce the members in our very special way soon including the date of the challenge ☺️

We will be doing this long trek for our chosen charity MND Association & sponsorship will be made available in due course.

We will be in touch soon!!

Wishing all our amazing followers a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.

Thank you soo much to everyone who donated and supported us before, during and after the challenge, we can't thank you enough!!

The 24 hour challenge had it all, lots of fun, laughter, wrong directions, tiredness, fatigue, bonds, sickness, talc, 24 changes of attire (by one of us) and a lot of hot sun!

Next year's challenge is almost agreed and we will share the details hopefully in January.

We will be running for both Weston Hospice Care and Motor Neurone Disease (MND) charities.

Looks like we will finish on a huge £8,716.00 for Bowel Cancer UK

Just a huge thank you to everyone who donated, supported, met us at crazy hours and ran with us, it meant so much! Genuinely can't believe the money that's been raised but we know what a huge difference it will make to the charity.

Thank you to the guys at Bowel Cancer UK who sent positive messages before and after (in pic).

We have an idea for next year already so watch this space!

We call on the Government to lower the bowel cancer screening age to 30, and provide funding to ensure all patients with symptoms of bowel cancer are fully and quickly investigated, regardless of age, to help prevent further loss of life due to delayed diagnosis.

Huge thank you to Eleanor Thatcher for giving us a factory tour of Thatchers Cider !

What an amazing place it is! The scale is off the charts, such an impressive place! Very lucky to have them on our doorstep!

Eleanor ran with us at 4am on the Sunday of our challenge, provided a hamper of drinks plus donated £ for our efforts, gem of a person and company!

We ate and sample a cider too and it was gorgeous!

A week after the event, we just wanted to say a MASSIVE THANK YOU to everyone who has donated, supported and wished us well on this mad journey.

All 24 locations made the challenge that much better, the love and support from them all was incredible. Being cheered on was the best feeling!

All the businesses who sponsored a mile, thank you so much.

We have raised £7,310 plus £1,181.50 of gift aid to be added. I know the charity are delighted with this amount and would like to thank the 225 people/businesses who donated!
