Whether they've been with us for years or have recently joined the team, each volunteer plays an important role in helping our students learn, create and thrive.

Charlie and Anthony are valued volunteers on our Farm, where they spend time caring for the animals they love so much. 🐾

When asked why they volunteer, both said it's simple, they love animals! Their favourite animals on the Farm are the ducks, and they enjoy helping out while spending time with them.

5,895 metres. One mountain. One goal: to make a lasting difference.

Dominic is taking on the challenge of climbing Kilimanjaro (5,895m) in October 2027 to raise funds for Aldingbourne Trust. This is a cause that is very close to his and his family’s heart, making the challenge far more than just a physical test. Every step taken on the mountain represents a commitment to supporting individuals who face daily challenges that many of us never see.The aim is to raise £5,895, £1 for every metre climbed, helping Aldingbourne Trust continue their vital work providing opportunities, support and independence for adults with learning disabilities and autism across West Sussex and Hampshire.

The current total for Dominic is £4,255, which is an incredible amount already raised. Every donation, no matter the size, will help create real opportunities and make a meaningful, lasting difference.

As Colin retires from his role in our Maintenance Team, we're pleased his journey with Aldingbourne Trust is continuing as he becomes a volunteer. 🪚

After serving in the Army and then joining Aldingbourne Trust as a valued member of staff, Colin has spent years helping to keep our sites running smoothly and supporting the people we work with. When asked why he's staying on as a volunteer, Colin said he simply loves being part of Aldingbourne and enjoys knowing that the work he does makes a difference to people's lives.

We're so grateful for all he's contributed as a member of staff and are delighted he'll still be part of our community as a volunteer. 🧡
