Tonight the Beavers made edible gifts for some special people in their lives. (Not sure they'll last until Sunday!)
It was a hot evening to be baking but many hands make light work! Thank you to Alison who prepared everything in advance and baked the cookies. And thank you to our young leaders who washed everything up. (They were chief taste-testers too!)
The children who spent time in canoes before half term finished off some badge work with Heather and Ian. Then we had a a game of elephant ball run by Daniel.

While some of our Scouts were braving the outdoors at "I'm a Scout, Get Me Out of Here!", others were hard at work supporting our fundraising efforts at the Hawes Down School Fair.

Our Scouts ran a soft tomahawk throwing stall and the ever-popular "Guess the Name of the Duck" game, helping to raise money towards our exciting trip to Belgium in 2027. Their enthusiasm, teamwork, and commitment were on display throughout the day, making the event a great success.

A huge thank you to everyone who volunteered, took part, and supported us. Great work, Scouts – we're incredibly proud of you all! 🇧🇪⚜️

What an incredible weekend at Bromley Scouts' "I'm a Scout, Get Me Out of Here."

Our Scouts were absolutely amazing from start to finish, showing resilience, teamwork, and plenty of Scout spirit. They cooked all of their own meals on altar fires, embraced the outdoors, and spent both nights sleeping in survival sacks under tarpaulins. Despite the challenges, they tackled every activity with determination and a smile on their faces. We are incredibly proud of everything they achieved and the positive attitude they showed throughout the weekend. Well done to all our Scouts for making it such a memorable adventure!

Last night the Squirrels worked on the International part of our All Around us Badge!

We identified flags and coloured them the right colours, Attempted to make Fleur de Lis with strawberry laces on some biscuits and made some Venetian masks!

Cubs started the ‘History comes alive’ blanket badge this week with a visit from Colin with his collection of re-enactment items. Cubs enjoyed learning more about the different periods of history and trying on the various items.
