Crisp Packet Project West Wickham - Upcycled Survival Kit

Crisp Packet Project West Wickham - Upcycled Survival Kit We need your empty crisp packets! Please post or drop off your prepped packets to us at SJ’s (address below). WANT TO DO MORE? WANT TO GO ALL THE WAY? Thank you.

Your local 'Crisp Packet Project' group, serving West Wickham and surrounding areas, is a non-profit organisation that uses crisp packets and other single use plastics to make blankets and survival kit for rough sleepers and those in need. After the crunchy munchiness, enjoy the warm and fuzzy feeling of knowing that your crisp eating is helping us to create upcycled survival blankets and other em

ergency kit for homeless people and those in need. Here's how you can help...

PREP YOUR PACKETS
Cut open a long and short side so that the packet lies flat, wash it and allow to dry before stacking. To start the upcycling of your prepped packets:
- iron into strips of 4 OR
- iron into grids (up to 1m x 2m)..then drop them to us at SJ’s for completion. If you’re really keen, join us for a training session to learn how to make a complete blanket! You can also watch the video we've shared, made by the Crisp Packet Project founder.

***Please send us washed packets only*** Sadly, dirty packets will be thrown away. If dropping off through the letter box, please ensure they are in an envelope. The West Wickham group is linked to St John's Church and our base is at SJ's, their community space in Coney Hall:
