Almost 60 of you came to my Studio in Birdham over the Art Trail weekends and many more of you sent me messages of support too!

I had the chance to talk about processes and chromatography and paint mediums and locations — just a few of my favourite things when it comes to taking part in the Open Studios.

I hope you enjoyed it too, whether you were there in person or enjoyed from afar!

This is one of the paintings that I have on show during this last day of the Chichester Open Studio event. It's called 'Tide 1'. It's too late to avoid getting your feet wet, but does that matter? Listen to the sound. The sea is not silent. The tide is unstoppable. It pushes and heaves and rolls and spreads. We are part of nature; don't resist it, you can't.
