✨ WOW! What an incredible Summer Concert we had last night! ✨
We were absolutely delighted to perform to a full venue, with so much wonderful support from our local community. Thank you to everyone who came along and made the evening so special.
Our choir sang beautifully throughout the evening, with a fantastic programme that included full choir performances, solos, duets and ensemble pieces. We are so proud of every single member who took part.
A huge thank you goes to all the amazing people who worked behind the scenes to make the event such a success. From welcoming our audience, running refreshments and selling raffle tickets, to our stage hands keeping everything running smoothly – we couldn't have done it without you.
Special thanks to:
🎵 Judith, our brilliant conductor, who not only led us throughout the evening but also opened the show with a fabulous solo.
🎹 Tracey, our wonderful pianist, whose support was invaluable and who also treated us to a beautiful solo performance.
🎤 Jess, our excellent MC, who guided us through the evening with warmth and professionalism.
We would also like to thank Midhurst Parish Church for allowing us to use such a wonderful venue, and our hardworking committee whose dedication behind the scenes brings events like this together.
A heartfelt thank you to Dominic, who gave a moving speech about his own experience and explained why we have chosen the Stroke Association as our charity for this year. We are proud to be donating a portion of the profits from last night's concert to support their important work.
Finally, a very special mention to Yvonne who, alongside Jess, co-founded Midhurst Community Choir and helped start this wonderful choir family nine years ago. Without their vision, enthusiasm and commitment, none of this would have been possible.
Thank you again to everyone who performed, volunteered, donated raffle prizes, bought tickets, supported our charity fundraising and joined us for such a memorable evening.
As we celebrate another fantastic year together, we're already looking forward to next year when Midhurst Community Choir will celebrate its 10th anniversary – a wonderful milestone for our community choir.
Before then, we can't wait to welcome you to our Christmas Concert in December for another evening of music, friendship and festive cheer.
