Worthing Beekeepers

Worthing Beekeepers Promoting all aspects of beekeeping through education and mutual assistance This page is set up for the purpose of bee topics and discussions only. Thank you.

We do not allow any form of advertising, either for sales or events other than events held by our association. We assume that most posts will be of a helpful and friendly nature but any posts that are interpreted as offensive or inappropriate, sales or event advertising will be removed immediately. We are an association that is run by our members with the purpose of supporting our members (new and

old) to learn about beekeeping and improve how we keep our bees for the benefit of the bees and environment. We hold monthly meetings in the autumn and winter where we have speakers come and talk about different aspects of beekeeping which we think our members would be interested in. We also run a course in the spring for people that would like to learn about beekeeping, this is held weekly with both theory and practical sessions. There are also a large number of members that are happy to mentor new member beekeepers that ask for support. Throughout the spring, summer and autumn we have regular meetings at our out apiary where we have members show new and old different ways of running hives. We also hold regular social evenings and days where members meet at pubs or each others apiaries and discuss all things bees and many other things as well. We hold our annual Honey show every autumn and encourage members to also enter the National honey show, and the Honey show held at the South of England Show . We are always interested in meeting new people that are interested in beekeeping in Worthing, West Sussex and the surrounding towns and villages.
