Our Scouts can’t wait for CamJam next summer but need your help! They have planned a fundraising event to help support the cost of attending an international jamboree and need your support.
Games, refreshments, raffle, handmade goods for sale and much more! You may even get to sponge a Scout or two!
This event is open to all but please bring plenty of change!

We were delighted to part of of the almost 400 members of Hillingdon West District to parade in celebration of our movements patron, St George.

We’re very proud of our young people who turned out and took part, well done all!

Sometimes you need longer than we have on a section meeting evening, sometimes you want to meet the team for child's future section, sometimes you just want to sit with a cup of tea and make paracord keychains!

Our team are available at the Scout Hut each first of the month for a catch up and a cuppa.

Looking for secondhand uniform? This will be available for purchase on these mornings. We have a wide range of nearly new outdoor clothing, equipment and shoes as well so let us know if you're looking for something particular. All sales support the group directly.

So join us for a tea or coffee, maybe a bit of gardening or crafting or even just a chat.

Please note there is no Open Hut session on August 1st as we'll be getting ready for summer camp!

As we hurtle towards half term we've had a busy start to the summer.

Lots of hard work in the garden, lots of skills brushed up ready for camps and events on the horizon.

Our CamJam team had their first planning day together, thinking about what going to a jamboree involves, some key advice from our KIJ veterans and building those team skills that will help us have an incredible time next year!

We're about to start reaching out to our Young People due to move sections and those on our waiting list to allocate places for Autumn term so if you're thinking of joining us it's a great time to get in touch!

Attention climbers! We're hoping to replace some of our older rope and boost our rope stores in the most environmentally friendly way possible. All of our sections have learnt alot about how important reduce-reuse-recycle can be and we need your help for this project!

We are specifically looking for rope that is no longer suitable for climbing but would still be perfectly safe for knot‑tying practice. Our young people regularly work on developing their ropework skills, and having real rope to handle makes a huge difference to their learning.

Any lengths you are able to spare would be gratefully received and put to good use.

As we think towards warmer weather, all of our sections have plans to plant and grow vegetables and flowers at and around our HQ.

We're reaching out to our local community to ask if you have an excess of seeds, seedlings, compost or potting trays you'd be happy to donate to support these gardening projects.

Last year we delighted in seeing our sunflowers, tomatoes, beans, pumpkins and peas grow. The sweetcorn tried but didn't quite make it!

If you are able and would like to support these projects please let us know!

Since last September our Scouts have paddled, hiked, painted, written, camped, knotted, cooked, built and puzzled their way through so many different adventures.

But they need something extra, they need you!

With a growing section we are looking for adult volunteers to support their Scouting journey.
