What an amazing day… I don’t know where to start, but I’ll try! 🐾💚

Firstly, our wonderful Malwina Markowska collected a lovely donation of dog and cat food from Parv, the community champion at Asda Great Bridge. She dropped it off along with some lovely items for us to sell, then headed out with a parcel for a gentleman in West Bromwich struggling to feed his little dog and three cats. ❤️

Our amazing volunteer Pav also arrived with even more pet food donated by herself and her friends. We are so grateful for your continued kindness and generosity! 🥰

Ryan came home from volunteering at The Dorothy Parkes Centre, where he had taken dog and cat food to support their clients in need, and brought back some bags of much-needed cat litter. Thank you! 🐱

Our lovely Karen Carnell collected donations from the amazing Vets for Pets West Bromwich yesterday and passed the food and items over to Sam Satchwell who brought everything round to me today. While he was here, he also collected a parcel for a gentleman referred by Cradley Food Bank who needed help feeding his Staffy. Sam then drove all the way to Stourbridge to make sure the dog had food tonight. 🚗🐶

So many people coming together to keep pets fed and support their owners through difficult times. I honestly can’t thank our volunteers, donors and supporters enough. Every donation, collection and delivery makes a difference. 💚

Pictured below are the two parcels that left us today, helping one dog and three cats in West Bromwich and a Staffy in Stourbridge. 🐾

Now to get Ryan to help sort everything out, because my back is in agony again… sorry, Ryan, your shift isn’t quite finished yet! 😂❤️

Legs crossed like the princess she is… probably wondering why her staff haven’t brought her treats yet! 👑😂

I’ll never understand why some people have an issue with black cats. This gorgeous girl brings us so much joy and is a lovely friend to our old boy Bailey. 🐶❤️

I’m always saying we have amazing volunteers, and today is no different! 🥰

Karen Carnell obviously loved spending time with me at the car boot so much that she turned up at my door tonight… with CAKE!!! 🍰😂

Not only is she crazy, helpful and kind, she’s also a brilliant baker! I’d only just eaten my tea, but that didn’t stop me and Eloise wolfing down a slice of her Baileys chocolate cake. Absolutely delicious! 😋🍫

Well, me and Crazy Karen are FINALLY home! 😂🐾

What a day!!! After our ridiculously early start this morning, Karen Carnell has kept me busy and entertained all day with her antics 🤣 and once the sun finally decided to make an appearance, it turned into a really lovely day! ☀️

We had plenty of customers stopping by our stall, lots of bargains found new homes, and we raised an AMAZING...

💚 £165.30! 💚

Absolutely brilliant for a morning's work, and every penny will go towards helping us continue supporting pets and their owners across the Black Country. 🐶🐱

And because apparently a 5.30am start and a morning at a car boot wasn't enough for her... Karen even finished the day by making a delivery to a pet owner in Tipton who was struggling to feed her Staffy cross! 🥹🐾

Now THAT is dedication! ❤️

Massive, massive thank you to Karen for all your hard work today, ferrying all the sale items around, helping on the stall and keeping me entertained in the process. 😂 You really are a star!

And thank you to everyone who stopped at our stall, bought something or donated. You've helped make our early start completely worth it.

Now I think Karen and I have earned a stiff drink and a nap... preferably in that order! 🍹😴😂

🐾 IS THIS YOUR CAT? WEST BROMWICH 🐾

We have put a paper collar on this lovely boy to try to locate his owner. He has been checked for a microchip but doesn’t have one, and has been around the area for approximately four years without being neutered.

Before taking any further steps, we want to make sure he isn’t someone’s much-loved pet. ❤️

If he is a stray, we hope to arrange for him to be neutered and possibly find him a loving home, so he doesn’t have to spend another winter on the streets. 🏡🐱

🐾 Four more pets supported tonight! 💚

Our wonderful Sam has been over to Cradley this evening after a referral came in from a local food bank. They found our details online when a gentleman came to them looking for help feeding his husky, staffie and two cats. 🐶🐶🐱🐱

Luckily, we had enough food in stock to put a parcel together, and Sam headed over to deliver it, making sure all four pets had food for their bowls. ❤️

A massive thank you, Sam, for giving up your evening to help! 🐾

And a huge thank you to Karen for helping sort our sale stock ready for our car boot sale on Sunday! Lots of sorting and organising behind the scenes, all to raise funds to keep supporting pets in need. 🚗💚

We’re so grateful to our lovely volunteers for everything they do! 🥰
