It was a privilege to be invited to West Midlands Fire Service HQ today to receive a certificate from CFO Simon Tuhill.

This is much more than a certificate, this is recognition of what volunteers do to support the fire service. This also goes out to our wonderful volunteers within West Midlands Casualty Simulation Group, sponsors Eden Custom Training and medical advisor Sacha Quinney. The group wouldn't be the success it is without you all

For the last 2 days we have been supporting Iqarus Intl and Iqarus at their UK immersive training hub in a demo for VIPs...

For the last 2 days we have been supporting Iqarus Intl and Iqarus at their UK immersive training hub in a demo for VIPs from a foreign military organisation. Explosion at an UN food bank in the Middle East, with active shooter. Then a number of mini immersive room scenarios. The most intense 2 days the group has done ever.....and we smashed it.

We also had time to visit The Smallest Cog although Richard Hammond wasn't home....perhaps for the best otherwise I would have ropped him into the scenarios.

Casualty Simulation at its best, thanks to all that attended the last 2 days and our amazing sponsors Eden Custom Training, coupled with our medical advisor Sacha Quinney who has been bombarded the last 2 days with photos and videos!.

If you were at the Sleap Airfield exercise on the 19th May, and saw our team in action(we were the ones with major injuries, make up etc), and fancy having a go yourselves. Tonight we had the privilege to support Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service, West Mercia Police, Welsh Ambulance Services University NHS Trust, The Air Ambulance Service, Midlands Air Ambulance Charity , Officialwmas at Shropshire Aero Club with a massive 2 location multi agency double plane crash scenario. Luckily the rain held off right to the last minute. Thanks to all involved, especially Eden Custom Training for support and high quality medical training
