🌈 June is PRIDE Month 🌈

A time to celebrate the LGBTQ+ community, honour its history, and recognise the importance of equality, visibility, and acceptance.

Research shows that neurodivergent people are more likely to identify as LGBTQ+ than the general population, highlighting the need for environments where people can embrace all aspects of their identity without fear of judgement.

Imagine communities where everyone feels seen, valued, and empowered to be themselves. When we celebrate diversity and promote understanding, we create spaces where people can truly belong...

Join us here at NeuroRocket in celebrating diversity, embracing differences, and supporting our LGBTQ+ community this June, and all year round. 💜🌈

Feeling constantly overwhelmed, overstimulated, or stuck in survival mode?

For many neurodivergent minds, this can become the ‘normal’ for us, to the point where slowing down feels unfamiliar, even uncomfortable.

But what if we could create small, manageable moments of calm in our day?

Breathwork offers a gentle way to regulate our nervous system, build emotional awareness, and reconnect with ourselves without pressure, perfection, or unrealistic expectations.

That’s why we’re launching Breathwork for Busy Neurodivergent Minds, a 6-week online series designed to support neurodivergent wellbeing in a way that actually fits real life.

Starting Wednesday, June 17 | 6–7.30pm

This is part of our Sticky Labs series, because habits should stick, not stress you out.

May is Mental Health Awareness Month 💚

Some days can feel overwhelming. For those heavy days, consider putting together a mental health ‘first aid’ kit to support your mind and needs.

💛 Grounding: soft textures, comforting scents, familiar objects
🎧 Sound: calming music, headphones, or silence
🌿 Body: warm drink, movement, rest, fresh air
🧠 Mind: low-pressure comfort activities, simple tasks
🤍 Connection: a safe message, a pet, or gentle self-reminder.

If you’re struggling right now and need more support, please reach out to a trusted person or a mental health professional.

You don’t have to do this alone.

As May is Mental Health Awareness Month, our Mental Health series continues. 💚

We asked our team how they look after their own wellbeing and support their mental health.

These aren’t recommendations, just practical things that work for us, because everyone’s mental health journey is different.

What if one small act of kindness could create a ripple effect of hope?

From 13-20 May 2026, communities across the UK are coming together for A Million Acts of Hope, a nationwide week of action celebrating kindness, connection, and the power of everyday support.

Led by charities, community organisations, and faith groups, the campaign encourages people to take simple actions that help strengthen our communities and remind others that they are not alone.

This could look like:
💬 Checking in with someone who needs support
🌱 Creating opportunities for others to grow
💛 Choosing kindness, compassion, and understanding, even on difficult days

At NeuroRocket, this message resonates deeply with us. For the past two years, we have supported neurodivergent adults to unlock their potential through coaching, community, and online support.

As a CIC, everything we do is reinvested back into supporting people, helping hope continue to grow, one neurodivergent person at a time.

May is Mental Health Awareness Month

Here are a few neurodivergent-focused journal prompts to help you gently check in with yourself and your mental health this month.

No pressure or perfection necessary, as remember that journaling is just about being present with yourself at a safe and steady pace.

Take what resonates, leave behind what does not.

You are welcome to try these. 🤍

Mental Health Awareness Month is observed every May and is dedicated to raising awareness about mental health, reducing stigma, and encouraging people to prioritise their emotional wellbeing.

For us, as neurodivergent people, mental health challenges often occur alongside neurodivergence.

Supporting neurodivergent minds includes taking care of our mental health in ways that work and make sense for us.

Below are some common mental health conditions that can overlap with neurodivergence.

Every autistic person is different, and so are our needs.

The best way to support an autistic person is simple: ask what works best for us.

Acceptance isn’t just understanding. It is actionable support.

Here are four simple accommodations that can help us thrive at work:

• Quiet spaces or noise-cancelling headphones: noisy environments can be overwhelming.

• Clear communication: direct, specific instructions reduce stress and uncertainty.

• Flexible deadlines or routines: flexibility helps people work at their best.

• Respect for self-regulation: time to stim, rest, or process emotions in private.

These aren’t favours.

They’re actionable ways to support us in the workplace.
