Here are the details for Richard Aughton’s funeral, if any of you would like to attend.
Richard passed away peacefully on the 22nd May 2026, Aged 86 Years.
The Funeral Service will take place on Friday 12th June 2026, 1.30pm at West Lancashire Crematorium, Burscough.
Richard will be deeply missed by his family, friends and all who knew him.
Donations will be gratefully received in memory of Richard to Queenscourt Hospice c/o the Funeral Directors.

It’s with great sadness we announce that Richard Aughton has passed away. Many will know him as our greensman and Preston Vets team captain, but many know him simply as a lovely, kind friend. Funeral arrangements to follow.
