What's our Charity about?:

Here at Welwyn Home for Dogs, we're here to take care of vulnerable animals that have been abandoned or given up by their owners. We give the best love and care that we can provide to these animals and do our absolute best to give them the chance of finding a forever home.

Thank you for all of the donations and support for our cause!

Meet Tag and His New Family:

Tag was found lying down on the sofa with no one to feed him. His previous owner sadly passed away in their sleep and he was left all along for 3 days without any food. Luckily, we found in time. He took ages to warm up to us, he was so sad and scared. Eventually, with all of our love and care, he started to become a happy bouncy boy. He was recently adopted by a loving family.

Thank you for all of your help!

Meet Max:
Max was found abandoned on a country road in a terrible condition with a broken leg. He was so afraid but couldn't move. We eventually got him to our vet and he slowly started to recover. It took a while, but he eventually started to warm up to people again.

He has now found a forever home with a loving family. Here's a picture of him running around and having fun at the Lake District.

Meet Bear:
Bear was found abandoned and tied up to a fence with a metal chain. He was so frightened and malnourished that it took hours to get him to our vet. It took him a while to warm up to us, but eventually, he became a confident friendly boy that loves to be around people. He was so happy when his new owners came to pick him up.

Without your donations, we wouldn't be able to provide the best care and attention that we did.

Thank you for your donations!

Meet Nippy:
Nippy was left abandoned in a bag as a puppy on the side of the motorway. Luckily, we found him in time and brought him back to the shelter. He was in poor condition, but with your help and donations, we were able to nurse him back to help. He has now found a forever home and couldn't be happier.

Thank you for all your donations!

Meet Our Founders: Jeffery Smith, Tony Gunk, Irene Lee, Linda Helton and Julie Wen.

Here is a brief statement from our founders: We started this charity together as we've all had previous experiences with owning dogs. The percentage of dogs that are given up and poorly looked after is increasing every single year. We can't just stand there and watch this happen, so we've decided to make a difference and bring back hope into these dogs' lives with this charity. Any donation will help us provide shelter and food for these dogs.

At Welwyn home for dogs, we ensure that every dog has the opportunity to find a new home. We aim to take in every dog we possibly can, and we have experts that care for every animal that we take in. We promise that all dogs in our care will have the best love and treatment they can get until they find their forever home. With your help, we can continue to ensure that all the animals in our care will get the best treatment we can provide.
