IRCHY WIN A THRILLER! 🏏

What. A. Game. 😮‍💨🔥

Irchester CC held their nerve to secure a dramatic 1 wicket victory over Brixworth CC 3rd XI on Saturday! 💪🏽

Brixworth CC – 83 all out (25.3 overs)
Irchester CC – 86/9 (37.4 overs)

A tense, low-scoring battle that went right down to the wire, but the lads dug deep and found a way to get over the line 👏🏽

That’s another huge 20 points added to the board, meaning we now sit 2nd in Division Eight with 65 points 🔝🔥

The momentum keeps building… 👀

PROUD OF THE EFFORT – IRCHY SHOW CHARACTER!

A tough result away from home, but a performance full of heart, fight and real progress from the lads. 💪🏽

North Crawley CC 2nd XI – 273/4 (45 overs)
Irchester CC 1st XI – 235 all out (43.1 overs)
North Crawley take the win by 38 runs.

But this one tells a bigger story than the scoreline👇🏽

🌟 Milestones & standout performances:
- Sandeep Patel – brilliant 50 👏🏽
- Sandeep Parmar – superb 55 🔥
- Kev – excellent 46
- Strong late hitting from Krunal and Sarath to keep us in the fight

A huge moment for Sandeep Patel with his first ever half-century – the start of many more! 🙌🏽

🗣️ Captain’s words:
“Well done everyone today. We could have easily given up, losing the toss, a tough first innings in the field, they know their ground better than we do. We didn’t get off to the best of starts with the bat and our team of the past would have collapsed, but not now. Fantastic 50s from both Sandeeps and then excellent hitting from Krunal and Sarath at the end. Competition for places in the team and in the batting order is what we want, to drive each other to be better. Congrats to Sandeep Patel on his first ever 50. Let’s get the win against Brixworth next week.”
