A MASSIVE THANK YOU FROM IRCHESTER CC! 🏏💚

What a fabulous day! President’s Day 2026 was a huge success, and we can’t thank everyone enough for coming along, sharing our posts, helping behind the scenes and donating to make it happen. 🙌🏽

It was brilliant to see so many old faces and new, all coming together and creating such a fantastic community atmosphere. The BBQ and Indian food were delicious, the cakes were even better, and a huge thank you to everyone who baked and donated! 🎂🍔

And who could forget Shane Bicknell’s surprise performance on guitar and vocals?! 🎸😂 That took some courage… and a few drinks! Fair play, Shane!

Best of all, we raised over £500 for the club! 💰💚

We couldn’t be happier. Here’s to many more President’s Days and keeping that community spirit alive!

Thank you, Irchester. You smashed it. 🏏💚

FIVE WINS IN A ROW! 🔥🏏

IRCHY ARE ON FIRE! 💚

Another Saturday, another win and this one was a big one! The 1st XI beat Burton Latimer CC by a huge 110 runs to make it FIVE CONSECUTIVE VICTORIES! 👏🏽🔥

We’ve been taking down some of the top teams in the division and the lads genuinely couldn’t be playing better right now. What a turnaround! 💪🏽

🔝 7th in Division Eight
🏏 190 points
🔥 5 wins on the bounce

⭐ Kevin with an incredible 6 wickets! A seriously outstanding bowling performance. 👏🏽

And what a team effort. Shane summed it up perfectly:

“Great win guys, proper proud of all of us.”

From a fantastic opening partnership between Him and Parthiv, to Vikesh’s superb 50, Kev’s relentless swing bowling and some brilliant run-outs - everyone played their part.

But perhaps most importantly, the team showed character.

Parthiv unfortunately suffered a rib injury while batting, and Maskell picked up a side injury in the field, but both carried on and battled through for the team. That sums up the spirit in this squad. 💚

Sadly, we now know that Parthiv has suffered broken ribs. We’re all wishing him the very best for a speedy recovery - look after yourself, Parthiv, and keep us updated! ❤️‍🩹

👏🏽 Well done, lads. Five in a row. What a team.

TWO HUGE WINS FOR THE IRCH! 🏏💚

We might be a little late posting, but these results are too good not to celebrate! 🎉

✅ 25th July – Irchester CC secured a fantastic 3-wicket victory over Gretton CC, earning a huge 20 points! 👏🏽

✅ 1st August – The lads followed it up with another brilliant performance, beating MK Air CC by 2 wickets to take home another 20 points! 💪🏽🔥

To put those wins into perspective…
🏏 Gretton currently sit 5th on 181 points.
🏏 MK Air currently sit 2nd on 206 points.

Two outstanding victories against teams above us in the table – a real testament to the character, determination and fight this squad has shown. 👏🏽💚

Those back-to-back wins move us up to 8th place in Division Eight with 130 points, and with plenty of cricket still to be played, the boys will be looking to keep the momentum going! 📈

Congratulations to everyone involved – let’s keep pushing!

UP THE IRCH! 💚🏏
