We are celebrating being part of St John’s Welling at their Centenary Exhibition this weekend, come along and visit, it’s free! You can see how Welling and the church have changed and if you were a Lamplighter maybe spot yourself in one of our photos. There is lots to see in the whole church and refreshments are available.

This year we celebrated 60 years of Lamplighters at St John’s Church with a special World Leprosy Day service. Thank you for all your support and prayers and for continuing to ‘Light the lamp of love for those with leprosy’.

Jackie Mackley was honoured for 60 years of incredible service to Welling Lamplighters & The Leprosy Mission at St John’s Church on World Leprosy Day.

The Leprosy Mission – World Leprosy Sunday

We’ll be marking World Leprosy Sunday with a special service led by Lamplighters, a group of Primary and Secondary age young people. The group has a long and meaningful connection with The Leprosy Mission.

We’re also delighted to welcome guest speaker Wendy Piccinini, who will be sharing about the work of the charity and its impact around the world.
