THANK YOU…

We as a PTA managed to improve on last years figure this year…our events and donations raised just over £13,000!!!

This wouldn’t be possible without your donations and attendance to events. We are a small committee and would also like to thank parents, staff and even a few people from the village, that helped us by volunteering at an event this year!

We’d also like to thank those companies and individuals that have helped with donating to the school this year whether it was for a prize or items that helped make an event possible!

Our fundraising has ALL gone back into school and we’ve put it towards the following this year…

🛝 £5000 for OPAL
📚 £500 Book Swap Hut
☀️ £8000 Solar Panels
🏊‍♂️ £2000 Pool repair
🎹 £1368 Music lessons
📖 £3000 Accelerated reading

We’ve then chosen to give an equal amount to each year to help support with extra activities…

Year 1 - Dinosaur Workshop 🦕
Year 2 - Black Country Living Museum Trip ✏️
Year 3 - Tamworth Castle Trip 🏰
Year 4 - Horrible Histories Theatre Trip 🎭
Year 5 - Selly Manor Trip 🚌
Year 6 - Leavers Hoodies and SATS breakfast 🧇

We do these events for the children and adults to enjoy but most importantly so the students benefit from it at school.

We managed to raise £877.48 for the smarties challenge!

We’re so grateful for everyone’s generosity who donated over the final weeks of the school year!

WELL DONE to class 4G that won a treat at the end of yesterday!

ALL money received will go straight back to the school, supporting the development and learning opportunities for the children.

THIS WEEK…

Imagine the difference we can make together! If every student returns their Smarties tube filled with 20 pence pieces, we can raise an incredible amount of money.

This funding will go directly back into the school to support amazing initiatives like accelerated reading, music programs, unforgettable school trips, and so much more.

The smarties tubes are being counted and the class with the most money raised will receive a treat this week. 🌈

SMARTIES CHALLENGE

Today everyone will come home with a gift from
the Friends of Wellesbourne School. You will either have a packet of smarties or have been given an alternative with an envelope.

The packet will include instructions on our Smarties Challenge to help raise a final push before the summer holidays. The children are encouraged to do small tasks at home in order to gain 20ps to fill up their empty tube.

Please return your coins by the 18th July.

The class that fills their tubes or envelopes with the most money the quickest before the 14th July will get a class reward!

🚒 Fire Engine - come and see our local firefighters and take look inside the fire engine
😬 Bouncy castle (wind permitted)
🎸 Live music
🏎️ Go karts and last man standing game
🎯 Year 6 games including hook a duck
🏹 Fit4Kids soak the coach/beat the goalie/archery
🎨 Glitter tattoos and transfer tattoos
🎀 Colourful hair extensions
🍔 Bbq cakes and drinks
🧉Our Bike bus is doing a smoothie bike
✏️ Second Hand uniform
🎟️ Rainbow tombola/ adult bottle tombola
🍦Ice creams and ice lollies
🌷Stalls with gifts, jewellery, toys, 3D prints, Everyone Active and Charlecote Pheasant.
