A thriving village in the heart of Warwickshire,
situated on the A429 Stow Road,
5 miles from the M40, central to stratford Upon Avon,

on the X15 X18 bus route, with expensive travel costs to travel,

Living in Wellesbourne, is like living in a small town, yet it still maintains the value's of a village,

it was a HUB for great shops in the 60,s 70,s 80,s. then reduced because of town super markets, and retail parks,

So it has a high population, and hardly many places to shop,

If it wasn't for the building of the co op, many people would have travelled in to town,
so that's actually good for the older community,

With the building of the new Sainsbury's to go on the industrial park, that will help with various things,
easy parking, no travel costs, convenient, and create employment,

On the social side of life, their are clubs, sports teams, youth clubs,

drinking establishments, The Stags Head, The KIngs Head, The Conservative Club,

GWS is the local garage, the only place to get diesel and petrol,
once it was one of 5, now reduced to the sole trader,

Wellesbourne Market, held every Saturday and bank holiday Mondays, the only days the village can become grid locked,

Regional: A motorcyclist has been seriously injured in a crash in south Warwickshire this afternoon (Monday).
West Midlands Ambulance Service received several 999 calls reporting a collision involving a car and a motorcycle at around 1pm on the junction of Ingon Lane and Warwick Road near Stratford-upon-Avon.

A six-year-old girl has died after a collision between a car and a tractor.
At about 17:00 BST on Friday officers were called to the Fosse Way near Moreton Morrell, Warwickshire Police said, after reports of a collision involving an agricultural tractor and a Volkswagen Tiguan.
The girl was taken to hospital with serious head injuries, and she died on Saturday morning.
The driver of the tractor, as well as the driver and passengers in the Tiguan, were shaken but not injured.
The girl's family are being supported by specially trained officers, the force said.
Police are appealing for dashcam footage from motorists in the area before the collision
