A thriving village in the heart of Warwickshire,
situated on the A429 Stow Road,
5 miles from the M40, central to stratford Upon Avon,

on the X15 X18 bus route, with expensive travel costs to travel,

Living in Wellesbourne, is like living in a small town, yet it still maintains the value's of a village,

it was a HUB for great shops in the 60,s 70,s 80,s. then reduced because of town super mark

ets, and retail parks,

So it has a high population, and hardly many places to shop,

If it wasn't for the building of the co op, many people would have travelled in to town,
so that's actually good for the older community,

With the building of the new Sainsbury's to go on the industrial park, that will help with various things,
easy parking, no travel costs, convenient, and create employment,

On the social side of life, their are clubs, sports teams, youth clubs,

drinking establishments, The Stags Head, The KIngs Head, The Conservative Club,

GWS is the local garage, the only place to get diesel and petrol,
once it was one of 5, now reduced to the sole trader,

Wellesbourne Market, held every Saturday and bank holiday Mondays, the only days the village can become grid locked,

The Minor Injuries Unit at Stratford Hospital is open today between 9am - 4pm, and can treat sprains and strains, broken bones, wound infections, minor burns and scalds, minor head injuries, insect and animal bites, minor eye injuries, and injuries to the back, shoulder, and chest.
