We are a small Community Centre. We have slots available if you want to book a Meeting or Party space.

We have several regular clubs, including Friendship Groups, Dance groups, Exercise Classes, Arts sessions & Sewing (subject to funding), and much more. This is the business page for the Columbia Community Association, If you need to contact us for a booking our Landline is unmanned but please do give us a call and leave a message.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank the Steps, The Green, Manni, Cosy Cafe, Leaf & Bean, Penshaw Tea Room, Cooplands, Farmfoods, The Cake Box, Sweet Dreams, BB’s, Jon King, Needle Ninja Embroidery for their support in our fund raising efforts for Daft as a Brush Cancer patient care. To date we have accrued a sum of £2,250 and have pledges to follow up. You still have time to donate to the event. Once again thank you for your amazing efforts towards this fantastic charity. What a fabulous community we live in.

What a fabulous day! A huge THANK YOU to everyone who came along to our Charity Cake & Coffee Morning today. What a wonderful success, thanks to some truly fabulous people! 🥰

A special thank you to everyone who donated cakes, prizes, their time and, of course, their hard-earned cash! We know money doesn’t grow on trees (although if anyone finds one, please let us know! 😂).

It’s lovely to see our community coming together, sharing a cuppa, enjoying a slice of cake (or two… no judgement here! 🍰) and supporting such an amazing cause.

❤️ An extra-special thank you to Marion and Bob, without whom today simply wouldn’t have been possible. You’re absolute stars! 🌟

We’ll announce the grand total once we’ve counted all the pennies and recovered from the cake! 💰

And if you couldn’t make it, there’s still time to donate. Every single penny counts, and no donation is too small.

We want to invite you all to our Cake & Bake Sale on Friday 25th of September at 10.30am.

All proceeds will go to Daft as a Brush Cancer Patient Care. We also have Raffle tickets on sale now at £1 a strip, and domino cards for fabulous prizes will be sold on the d ay.

You have to be in it to win it.

We want to thank everyone who has supported us so far or pledged support, including Cake Box lowfell, The Green Coffee Shop, Sweet Dreams ,Leaf & Bean, Penshaw Farm Shop, Manni from Ritz, Farmfoods wrekenton and Brian Mason at Car Styling for our wonderful poster, which is now on the gate.
