We’re looking for speakers! 🎤

Pechakucha is a fast-paced 20x20 format - meaning the talk is quick and the audience are along on the ride with you!

Our event is a community focused (not an opportunity for a sales pitch) so we’re looking for speakers who want to tell a tale, share an inspiring story or share a passion with us. Think inspiring, interesting, and perhaps a little quirky.

In the past speakers have spoken about charitable work, community projects, their fears or emotions, their creative passions, and some even turned the audience into an impromptu choir and got us to sing with them.

A big thank you must go to our amazing speakers who braved the 20x20 speaking challenge and smashed it! Thank you for making us laugh, inspire us, make us think deeply, learn new things and connect to one another. Thank you also to our amazing compere Mario Barba and host Katie Jones

Meet your hosts!

Your MC for this night is Mario Barba, a trained actor and a branding specialist. He knows a thing or two about storytelling, first impressions, and holding a room.

He's spoken at FSB Bootcamp and forums across Warwickshire, helping entrepreneurs communicate who they are with clarity and confidence. But on PechaKucha Night, he's not there to talk business. He's there to create a space where the community comes together, ideas flow freely, and stories get told.

And the one BTS, running the presentations, taking photos & content, is Katie Jones. After a few years supporting in the running of Pechakucha Leamington Spa, Katie has officially become the host of our local chapter. When she's not running Pechakucha, she's running her own branding and graphic design business, and being creative in all walks of life.

"We're super excited to bring Pechakucha back to 1 Mill Street and to you, our amazing audience. We can't wait to feel the energy in the room and hear the inspiring stories of all our speakers. See you all soon!"

PechaKucha Night Leamington Spa returns next Friday, and we can’t wait to welcome you back for an evening of inspiring stories, unexpected ideas and brilliant people.

Over the course of the night, you’ll hear fast-paced 20x20 talks covering everything from ADHD, sleep science, community projects, AI gone wrong, healing, resilience and personal transformation!

Every talk is just 6 minutes 40 seconds long. It's quick, engaging, emotional, funny, thought-provoking and each one is completely different from the last.

Whether you come for the stories, the creativity, the community or simply a great night out with a drink in hand, PechaKucha is all about bringing people together.

We’re excited to welcome Alison Chantrey to the PechaKucha Night Leamington Spa stage for Volume 22.

Alison will be sharing the story of Christchurch Gardens (known to many locals as “Top Park”) exploring its history, periods of vulnerability and the work of the Friends of Christchurch Gardens, who are championing this public park.

Expect local history, community passion, hidden stories… and even a tiny art gallery.
