🏷️ Friends of Hastings House's Table Top Sale at Wellesbourne Village Hall 🏷️

Friends of Hastings House are holding a Table Top Sale and we would love to see you there!

📅 Saturday 31st October
🕚 11am to 3pm
📍 Wellesbourne Village Hall

Come along for a browse and a chat. There will be tables full of treasures, fresh produce, and a tombola, plus refreshments to keep you going: homemade soup and a roll, or tea, coffee and biscuits.

Every visit helps support the work of Friends of Hastings House in our community, so please bring a friend and spread the word.

This month, the group is turning its attention to Transitions, Change & Uncertainty. For neurodivergent people, change can feel disproportionately difficult, and it does not take a major life event to set that off.

Thank you to everyone for your continued support of our Used Printer-Cartridge Collection recycling initiative! It is already making such a meaningful difference.

Collection boxes are now located at Hastings House Medical Centre, The Community Hub, Body Balance Works, St Peter's Church, Wellesbourne Sports Centre and The One Stop, Bridge Street. The Women's Institute are also collecting at their regular meetings.

This is a brilliant, simple initiative that turns everyday waste into community support.

If you know anyone who might like to host a collection box at their workplace, or if friends and family can save their used cartridges for us, we would be incredibly grateful.

📣 WE’RE HIRING: YOUTH WORKERS

Wellesbourne and Walton Parish Council is recruiting two part-time Youth Workers to help establish and deliver our new weekly Youth Club at The Community Hub in Wellesbourne.

This is a brilliant opportunity for someone looking to develop their experience in youth work, with funded training and support available towards a youth work qualification up to NVQ Level 2. It could also be a meaningful additional role for someone already working in education, sport, care, the arts or community provision.

Key details:

📍 The Community Hub, Wellesbourne
👥 Two positions available
📄 One-year fixed-term contract
⏰ 2.5 hours per week
📅 Fridays, 5.30pm–8pm
💷 £14.80 per hour

The successful candidates will work together to create a safe, welcoming and engaging weekly club for young people aged 11–14. They will build positive relationships, plan and deliver activities, coordinate volunteers and ensure that young people have a genuine voice in shaping the club.
