Just under 3 weeks until the trustees meet.
At the meeting we consider applications for financial assistance made by individuals or made by concerned friends and neighbours who want to help. If you want support or know someone who might, please contact us through messenger or one of the trustees direct.
To be considered, the recipient needs to be over 45, live in Shrewley parish or an adjoining parish, this includes, Hatton, Rowington, the 4 parishes (Haseley, Beausale, Wroxall and Honiley), Claverdon.
Typically we give awards for
- ‘white goods’ dishwasher/ fridge etc
- help with additional costs associated with illness, such as transport costs, additional heating costs, help with carer costs
- home adaptation such as hand rails, renovating steps, or contributions towards larger expenses such as easy access bathrooms
- unexpected expenses that the individual finds unaffordable such as fencing, tree surgery
