IMPORTANT UPDATE…
Many thanks for your continued support of St Mary's Christmas Tree Festival (CTF). This has been a wonderful event for the town of Warwick over the years and, in many ways, the highlight of the calendar year. We are enormously grateful to Helen and Tony, Carol and Richard for all their commitment and hard work over the years in making the Festival such a success. The new CTF committee now has big shoes to fill!

We thought we'd introduce ourselves, give you our new email address and a flavour of what is to come. Our new email address is:

The dates this year are tentatively 19th - 29th November which means that we are opening a week earlier than Victorian Evening which is scheduled for 26th November. However, there will still be all the traditional stalls, events and, of course, the trees during the Victorian evening.

The preceding week will include themed days for Care Homes, Schools and Veterans to mention a few, plus, of course, a visit from the Mayor for judging the trees plus all the regular musical offerings. We are also aiming to create an atmosphere of reflection as well as joy, with opportunities for lighting candles to remember loved ones during this wonderful season, placing thoughts and prayers on the Memory Tree and enjoying a short and energetic carol service.

So there's lots to get organised over the next few months and we look forward to welcoming you once more to the Christmas Tree Festival! We very much look forward to meeting you all.

Our church now has a brand-new website designed to help you stay connected, informed, and encouraged throughout the week.

Whether you’re looking for service times, upcoming events, messages, prayer resources, or ways to get involved, everything is now just a click away.

This new platform is more than just a website — it’s a space where faith and community come together.

We invite you to visit, explore, and share it with your family and friends.

We’re excited to share the lovely letter that we have received from the Kensington Palace office of HRH The Princess of Wales. Following on from the hugely popular “Tree of Kindness” that featured at our recent Christmas Tree Festival (which was inspired by HRH), we shared our story with HRH The Princess of Wales and included some photos. The kind response that we have received has been so much appreciated by our organising team, and by the over 70 volunteers who made the Festival possible.

Via our close link with the Warwickshire College Group and University Centre, their photography students visit the Christmas Tree Festival every year and spend an afternoon creating photos that are then entered into a competition sponsored by Gill Fletcher. Here is the fantastic 2025 WINNING PHOTO :
“Candles" by Eli Phillips - this image was chosen for its artistic, asthetic and technical qualities. It’s a warm image that captures the play of light well and portrays Christmas at the church.
Many congratulations Eli, and good luck in your chosen career!
