📣 Some dates for the diary!

That’s right! WDG are casting for their next show, Abigail’s Party by Mike Leigh.

We welcome all those who are interested to come to our relaxed reading and audition days. We are also seeking backstage crew (including props specialists, stage managers and technicians)

Characters we are casting:

BEVERLY: the dominant, manipulative, wine-drinking hostess in her mid-to-late 30s

LAURENCE: Beverly’s tense, stressed out estate agent husband in his early 40s

ANGELA: A chatty, wide-eyed and somewhat naive guest in her late 20s or early 30s

TONY: Angela’s quiet, laconic and imposing husband in his late 20s to early 30s

SUSAN (SUE): The quiet, recently divorced neighbour in her early-to-mid 40s

Here it is! 💥
Warton Drama’s next production is ABIGAIL’S PARTY by Mike Leigh.
The next production will take place at Warton Village Hall w/c 29th March 2027, and will be directed by Marian Cox. Ticket are not yet on sale, but we’ll be sure to keep you updated.

Auditions will be announced in due course.

📣 ONLY ONE WEEK TO GO!
‘Hay Fever’ will open this time next week at The Heron Theatre. This innovative and exciting take on this classic comedy of manners will be unlike anything you have seen from WDG before!

Tickets are ALMOST GONE with only a handful left on the Saturday shows, so grab them while you can.
