We're delighted to announce that NXT Pathway has secured support from the West Midlands Police and Crime Commissioner to launch our new Youth Safe Space in Wolverhampton.

Launching September 2026, this new initiative will provide a **weekly after school safe space** for young people in Years 7-11 across the WV2, WV3 and WV4 areas.

A place to:

• Connect with others
• Build confidence
• Access support
• Enjoy positive activities
• Relax, learn and grow

Young people will be able to access positive activities, make new friends, enjoy a welcoming environment and receive support when they need it.

This project is about creating opportunities, building resilience and ensuring young people have somewhere they feel safe, valued and supported.

We would like to thank the West Midlands Police and Crime Commissioner for supporting this important community initiative and helping us invest in local young people.

Registration of interest is now open for young people, parents/carers, schools and partner organisations.

Our vision is simple: to help people build confidence, develop new skills and access opportunities that enable them to thrive.

Hi, I'm Suki, Founder of NXT Pathway.
After years of working with children, young people, families and communities, I saw first hand how many talented young people simply need the right support, encouragement and opportunities to thrive.
That's why I created NXT Pathway.
Our mission is to create positive pathways that help young people build confidence, develop skills and access opportunities that support their future aspirations.
Whether through community projects, youth programmes, safe spaces, mentoring or partnership working, our goal is simple:
To help young people believe in themselves and realise their potential.
This is just the beginning, and I'm excited to share the journey with you.

A new chapter begins!!
Many of you will know this page from its previous content under Lumino Kids. While our passion for supporting children and young people remains the same, our focus has evolved.
NXT Pathway CIC has been created to support young people, families and communities through positive opportunities, skills development, community projects and pathways that help people thrive.
We're committed to creating safe, supportive and inclusive environments where people can build confidence, develop skills and access opportunities that make a lasting difference.

Here’s a glimpse of what we’ve been up to with some Year 10 students at Phoenix Collegiate as part of Careers Week.

Students baked their own cupcakes from scratch and then moved on to decorating and designing them, developing their fondant skills along the way. There was lots of creativity, teamwork and some fantastic designs by the end.

A big thank you to Phoenix Collegiate for welcoming us and supporting the session during Careers Week. And a special thank you to Chaz, our facilitator for sharing her expertise and giving students a real insight into baking and creative food preparation.Lots of creativity, teamwork and some brilliant results at the end.

Practical sessions like this are a great way for young people to build confidence and learn new skills.

📣 FREE Community Skill Workshops - WV2, WV3 & WV4

Lumino Kids is working in partnership with NXT Pathway CIC to develop FREE community skill workshops for young people and families in WV2, WV3 and WV4.

These workshops will help local people:

• Learn practical life skills
• Share skills from their culture or experience
• Build confidence
• Meet people from different backgrounds

What is a skill workshop?
A friendly session where local people teach simple skills and learn together.
Examples: cooking, budgeting, job interview tips, art, fixing bikes, English practice, business basics.

We want the community to shape this.
