Warrington Wildlife Watch

Warrington Wildlife Watch Local Wildlife Watch group for Warrington as part of Cheshire Wildlife Trust. The Widllife Watch is the junior membership of the Wildlife Trust.

Our aim is to help children understand the natural world around them using fun activities & games, with monthly events held in local nature reserves. Local watch groups are based around the country, putting on events for children of all ages to get them interested in all things nature. Warrington Wildlife Watch is run by two volunteers with Cheshire Wildlife Trust, Sharon and Neil, who work with M

oore Nature Reserve to run events for children in the Warrington and Halton area. Neil has a degree in Life Science and is a Biology teacher at City of Liverpool College. Sharon has a degree in Animal Behaviour, has experience working as a support worker and currently works as a Nursery Practitioner. Both have a strong interest in nature and conservation and are keen to pass this knowledge onto the next generation. We started the group in 2011 and we were awarded The Eric Thurstaston Award in 2015 for not only being the longest running, but also the only, Wildlife Watch group in Cheshire. Please check the events tab for the up coming events. If you want any further information or just want to ask a quick question then ask on here or email [email protected].
